October house update

We are almost ready to start tiling the master shower; it will be started after the painting is done.

This is the master closet; we really like shelves!

After the painting is done we will tile the fireplace.

This is Liza in the pantry. We can't wait to have storage!

This is the laundry room; the laundry, entry from the garage and the half bath are the only rooms with tile.

popsicles in the park

Last week we stopped at the park and ate our popsicles at the Greenbelt in Idaho Falls on the Snake River. Luckily we had pink popsicles and pink shirts on that day! the stains are barely noticable!!

Matt has started the trim in the house this week, here he is finishing out our family room window... what a "good worker boy" as Liza would say.

Here's the outside of the house finally completed (minus the garage doors...so i guess almost finally completed.)

so, we've been a little pre-occupied with the house lately so i thought i'd post some picture of just the girls. i wanted to post pictures that had just livie in them and then ones with just liza in them, but i realized that most of the pictures i have, although they are mostly of the girls, are not with just one of them at a time, but i found some that are, and some that are really cute so here's what i came up with...

okay, i don't think i ever posted this one; this last winter liza made a snowman the same height as she is and i gave her a baby carrot for the nose and big chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth and she made it a 'snow hat' (not a cone head) and she was so proud of him... but she was freeeeezing so i made her come inside. then i helped her look out the window at it in the backyard... but by the time we got in the house and unbundled, all the face decorations had fallen off... and i was like 'oh no, now we have to go back outside and fix it so liza's not sad...' but liza just looked at it for a second and said, "oh- he turned around."

Here's a picture of the Best dinner I made this week. (yeh- I took a picture of my food.) Matt wanted German Apple Pancakes so we gave it a try... I am one quarter German after all so I wasn't entirely shocked that they were AbSoLuTeLy DeLiCoUoS!!!

the girls' pretty hair for church. we call liv "little livi lou hoo and her little hair do-hoo" cause her pony tails stick straight up. and Liza's hair is a heart.... :) mmm, so cute....
