Foundation walls

and this is friday after they poured the walls...

house update

So nothing really extremely exiting has been going on lately, but here's an update on our house building. We've been digging trenches for electrical and we poured concrete for our footings last week and we are pouring concrete for our foundation walls tomorrow, so next week we will pour the basement floor and put in our bearing walls in the basement... Then the more exciting things will start, like the walls and stuff that is easier to see somthing happening and watch the progress. and then it won't look like a bunch of holes and piles of dirt... so then i'll post pictures.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to MATTHEW!! april 3rd! here is matt eating a wonderful dinner his loving wife made him... Baby back ribs, mashed potatoes n gravy, and peas with blueberry cheesecake for dessert. Ooooo... (yay! i'm getting better already! this birthday post is only 1 month late!)

it was funny watching the girls eat ribs- they love 'em!

we went up to kelley's canyon for a while to let the girls run around (even though it was like 45 degrees) and they couldn't get enough of this little creek running through the campground. one of liza's favorite things to do is "throw rocks in the river" so we kept throwin rocks and sticks in this poor little stream, kinda cloggin it up a bit. they loved jumping over it, too. as my mom would say... "a good time was had by all."
