i just noticed that i never posted anything for little liza's birthday :..( so in effort to correct this... even though it's like more than 4 months late, here are a couple pics of Liza's 3rd birthday, december 22, 2008...
and here is her cake that kept falling apart (because it was filled with vanilla pudding and raspberries and i had to keep putting more and more frosting on it to cover up the holes where the icing shlumpped off and then put it in the fridge so it would set up ) but it was just what she said she wanted, a princess-y polka dotted heart cake.

okay, so this is how liv eats ice cream..... with enthusiasm.

oh yeh, she is also saying AAAAAHH! at the same time or maybe AH! AH! AH! AH! to a rhythm which gets faster and faster the longer she has to wait for the next bite. you can't resist feeding her more, and she won't let you forget she's waiting....

here are some pictures of the girls on easter. i don't know why they're always smiling like that when the camera comes out but i like it. it always makes me laugh.

okay, so we finally have some really cool news... we are now the rightful owners of 2 acres of land! cool, right? (yeh. i know you all thought i was goona say that i was pregnant right? well, no.) the first step to building our house is now complete. (!) we're so excited. as matt puts it, "we are so done living in this trailer." (not that it's been THAT bad living in this trailer, its kinda homey afterall,) but, yeh, we could be done and it wouldn't hurt my feelings. But any way... we're building a house! if ya wanna see what our house plan is sorta like you can check out needahouseplan.com and ours will be alot like plan number 1572. we made a bunch of minor changes but it's that same thing basically. The drafter is accually a friend of ours and has just finished a website for house plans that she has drawn. she is really good and i would totally recomend her to any one who needs a house plan.

Happy Birthday Rebekah!!! (for some reason i am really late this year...) but i still love you and miss you! hope you had a great birthday 2 days ago! to prove i still care here's a picture of you serving up the cake i made for you! you like teddy bears right?
